Dearest Dream Girl...

Hey Ladies, if you don't mind I would just like to share this letter that I received a couple years ago from a dear friend. It's a letter from my future husband [and yours as well]. It's just a nice reminder that there really is someone waiting for us to meet and a reminder that when we meet them and realize that they are the one we will spend the rest of our lives with [and/or eternity :)] it gives me the warm fuzzies. Whether you are religious or not, I think that it has a warm message behind it.

Dearest Dream Girl,

You probably don't know me yet, and I'm not sure I know you either, but you and I will be in love some day.

I think of you all the time. I wonder about things like, what you look like, what things you like to do, what it is about you that will make me fall in love with you, and how I will know when I find you.

However, there are a few things that I know already. I know that you're a faithful daughter of our Heavenly Father and that you have a testimony of the gospel.

Dream Girl, I'm not interested in the girl who gives her lips freely, the girl who is immodest in dress and conduct. I'm not interested in the girl who changes her standards to fit her company; the girl who can't see anything wrong with an occasional cigarette, drink or immorality. I'm not looking for you at shady parties because you are not there.

Neither of us is perfect, but we will love each other for what we want to be as well as what we are. And when we don't see eye to eye, we will kneel hand in hand and seek the inspiration of the Father.

There will not be many tomorrows until we find each other, and I'm waiting anxiously for that day. Stay sweet and pure, because I'll be looking for you. Until then, sweet dreams.

Love,
Your Future Husband

Like I said, even if you're not religious or you aren't currently frolicking through the flower fields, I hope that you ladies are living the best lives that you can no matter what circumstances you have been put in or the forces that are working against you and that you're living up to your own standards and not those of the people around you. Be your own person and your lovely, charming future husband will be there to find you in the right place at the right time. I love you ladies and have a wonderful weekend :)

The Butterfly Circus

A couple of months ago, I was at a friends house after his mission farewell and a good friend of mine, who also happens to be in our stake presidency, was there. We got going in a small conversation and he asked me how I was doing. I explained to him that I had been struggling for the last little while and that I really needed to get going on my spiritual stuff again. He asked me if I was in an institute class and I told him that I was but that I hadn't attended for the last week. He told me that I should probably start going again. I immediately agreed. He then told me about this video and asked me this question: "What is my advantage?"

After returning home that afternoon, I went to the computer to search this video and it wasn't hard to find. It only takes about 20 minutes to watch, and it made me feel SO MUCH BETTER. It also made me realize that this will apply to me for the rest of my life! I can ALWAYS turn to this video for inspiration, no matter the struggle that I happen to be going through at the time, I can always turn to it, and so can you. I challenge you to watch it and apply it to your own lives. Remember to ask yourself, "What is my advantage?" Happy watching ladies.
